Stayed at the Hotel Ambasciatori Florence back in April 2006 and found it to be everything we asked for. The breakfast was the most pleasant surprise – a great selection of stuff considering the size of the place.

Its location is perfect for public transport, being just across the road from the train station but the city is small enough to get around on foot quite easily anyway, though apparently Italians and walking don’t go together!

The place was clean, the room was fine and the staff were perfectly courteous and professional at all times. I’d stay here again.

This hotel got some bad reviews but I can’t see why, I stayed here just before Christmas and everything was fine for me.

The staff were extremely helpful with their advice and service – nothing I asked for was ever a problem, even when I myself thought I might be pushing it a bit!

The location is obviously perfect and if you book at the right time you can get an ok deal. The only downside was that they don’t have a restaurant but there’s a great one right next door so, no problem really! Really enjoyed the Ambasciatori Hotel!

Great hotel in a perfect location, reasonably priced compared to similar places, this one’s a safe bet. I really recommend the breakfast too. The movie rental option was a nice touch, I’ve never seen that before.
